Once upon a Wonder Club...

In a way, Wonder Club began in 1993, when I was 7 years old and felt inspired to create my own school called “The Club”. In my spare time I would merrily create lessons for my younger friends and neighbours, and although I considered it play, by the age of 9 I had taught my young neighbour to read and write before her first day of school.

After a few years I dismissed my club as a silly and bossy thing to do, and forgot all about it until I was soul searching in my late twenties. Having always been very curious and thirsty for knowledge and truth, whenever I learn something I consider important or profound I almost always take notes with the intention to simplify it and pass it on.

After years of collecting knowledge about philosophy, the nature of existence, self-help and spirituality, I realised that although I knew a lot, I still wasn’t living in alignment it. I realised that learning is the easy part. Integrating the knowledge is a whole other story. Especially if the teachings are very different from the belief systems and patterns of behaviour that you were conditioned with as a child.

And so I created my Wonder Challenges to be fun, action based lessons that focus on one subject at a time, and support you to integrate knowledge and wisdom into your daily thoughts and actions. Essentially, they reprogram you to walk your talk and be the best possible version of yourself.

Where some schools offer and promise fast-tracking, instant results and overnight transformations, Wonder Club is a school that acknowledges that if you wish to overcome traumas and a lifetime of destructive programming, and truly transform yourself and your reality, it takes consistent dedication, inspired action and discipline.

But there’s is no reason the journey can’t be fun. There’s no reason it can’t be a grand adventure. In fact, we believe it should be as fun as possible – not just because play and laughter are a medicine, but because the journey never ends: there is no destination, so you may as well take a deep breath and enjoy the journey.

At it’s core, Wonder Club is about having holy curiosity: to follow the mysterious rather than being in fear of it. To ask good questions and seek truth. To stay curious even when you think you have found the truth, for as Einstein once said “The fool believes himself to be wise, and the wise man knows he’s a fool”.

The act of questioning and wondering lifts your frequency, for it takes courage. So stay curious folks. And stay brave. Dare to allow yourself to be enchanted by the mysterious, to be open to surprises and miracles, for your ability to wonder is one of your most precious treasures…

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. it is the source of all true art and science. he to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead —his eyes are closed.” - Einstein
